BIO
After living 7 years in one of the biggest and busiest cities in the world, São Paulo - Brazil, it was time to come back to the motherland, Lisbon - Portugal.
Obsessed with taking pictures since a teenager, I studied Photography for three years at ETIC_ (2005-2008), and ever since I have lived, traveled, and seen the world through my lenses.
In São Paulo I had the chance to dig deeper into the independent music scene by shooting shows and Brazil's main festivals (SIM São Paulo, Lollapalooza, Bananada, Popload, etc.) took portraits of artists, and founded an audio-visual project called “We Are Not With The Band”, that focused on documenting leading women in music.
Back in 2019, I also ministered three concert photography workshops, in São Paulo and Salvador.
During lockdown, first half of 2020, I launched a mixed media project, in a magazine format, called “MÍOPE” - that explored different visual interventions on top of some portraits of Brazilian artists taken throughout the years.
In 2021, I opened my first solo exhibition called “So Many Bands, So Little Time” at Casa do Capitão, Lisbon - which featured portraits of the artists that played at the MIL music festival.
From 2021 to 2023 I was Musicbox's photographer, in Lisbon and studied Multimedia Design at World Academy.
As a graphic designer, I had the opportunity to work for Casa Tropi, where I was involved in various Branding Design projects and producing social media content for several clients.
Currently, I work as a freelance photographer and graphic designer. Let's grab a coffee or a glass of wine sometime.
